Antique "Dolphin Song" Tibetan Singing Bowl 4pc Set #antiqueset6
Weight: 332 grams to 406 grams
This set of Hand Hammered Tibetan singing bowls includes 4 Notes that make up a harmonic minor progression.
These bowls are ideal in producing the dolphin song singing bowl effect.
The Dolphin Song effect is produced when 2-4 oz of water is poured into the bowl.
As the rim is struck like a gong, swaying the bowl from side to side will allow the water to carry the vibrations, and affect their pitch.
This is based on the weight, or amount, of water in the bowl, as well as the water's position in the bowl.
Much of the bowl's vibration is strongest in the walls of the bowl. The water will carry the vibration stronger as it passes over the walls of the bowl.
2-4 oz of water is likely to affect the 5th and 6th octave frequencies. Less than 2 oz of water can carry the 7th octave or higher frequencies.
The set sound file was recorded using a Zen Red Felt Striking Tool(sku: zenredfelt)
